Maintenance Tab
Use this tab to assign maintenance cycles to schedule maintenance for the organisation and/or location.
You can select one or more maintenance cycles by clicking these buttons:
Add New Cycle
Click this button to open the Maintenance Cycle form on which you can either create a maintenance cycle or select a cycle. You must indicate when the next maintenance is due. Saving the maintenance cycle copies it into the list of maintenance cycles for the schedule maintenance.
Edit Cycle
Select a scheduled maintenance cycle from the list of scheduled maintenance and click the Edit Cycle button to open the detail record for the maintenance cycle to edit it.
A maintenance cycle is linked to a schedule type, such as repair or service. You can also link it to a default job. Maintenance cycles can be time or usage based. Use the time-based maintenance cycles when using the Schedule Maintenance form.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Group
Group is created as an additional classification of scheduled maintenance, enabling you to create logical groups of your own. You can use groups as criteria to generate scheduled maintenance.
Maintenance Cycle
The maintenance cycles selected for the schedule maintenance display in the table. You can drill down to the detail of the maintenance cycle selected. Selecting a maintenance cycle in the table fills the detail of the cycle into the Schedule type, Template, and Job fields provided.
To add a cycle, click the Add New cycle button. To edit an existing cycle, select a cycle in the list of maintenance cycles and select Edit cycle.
