AR Aged Transactions Report


This report lists AR aged balances, based on transaction level and historic conversion rates.

Header Details

  • Report process date and time
  • Page number

Line Details

  • Customer Code
  • Customer Name
  • Customer Currency
  • AR Balance
  • Total Outstanding
  • Total Outstanding per Age Intervals entered as Criteria
  • Total Hold
  • Total Unapplied
  • Grand Total for all AR customers, for each of the total above-mentioned total fields
  • The Grand Total Outstanding consists of the Totals per Age Interval + Holds + Unapplied Amounts. The percentage of the Grand Total Outstanding displays for each of these items.

Parameters

You can set these parameters for the report:

Company

Select the company you require for this report.

Sorted by

Select whether you want the report to be sorted into intervals by payment date or posting date. Use the payment date when reporting for credit control purposes. Use the posting date when reconciling to your general ledger debtors control account.

Group by

Select the grouping you require for this report, these options are available:

  • Branch
  • Currency
  • Calendar
  • SalesPerson
  • Select this option if no grouping is required

View mode

If Advanced Security is in use, select which view mode you require:

  • Team - to report on only those customers in your teams.
  • All - to report on all customers.

The availability of these options depends on your privileges set up on the User Preference form.

Start date

Enter the start date for the report intervals. The default is today's date. If an age period of Months is used this date determines which period Interval 2 covers. If an age period of days is used, this date becomes the To date of Interval 2.

Age by

Enter the number of days or months that defines each interval and then select what period defines each interval — for example 1, Months means each interval covers one calendar month; 7, Days means each interval will cover a week; 28, Days means each interval covers four weeks.

Future intervals

Specify the number of future intervals the aging should cover. The maximum number is five future and past intervals altogether.

Past intervals

Specify the number of past intervals the aging should cover. The maximum number is five future and past intervals altogether.

Exclude transactions dated beyond

Enter a date beyond which to exclude the value of transactions. If the report is being sorted by Payment date then this date is compared to an outstanding transactions payment due date to decide if it should be included in the report.

If the report is being sorted by Posting date then this date is compared to an outstanding transactions posting date. Leaving this date blank, which is the default, means that all outstanding transactions, past and future, is included in the report values.

Interval table

If required you can change the dates that each interval starts and ends with, if the defaults determined by the Age by number and type are not suitable.

Customer Name

Select the range of customers to base the report on using the From and To Customer Name search fields.

Customer Code

Select the range of customer codes to base the report on using the From and To Customer Code search fields.

Branch Code

Select the range of branches to base the report on using the From and To Branch Code search fields.

Currency

Select the range of currencies to base the report on using the From and To Currency search fields.

Calendar

Select the range of calendars to base the report on using the From and To Calendar search fields.

Sales Person

Select the range of sales people to base the report on using the From and To Sales person search fields.

Report order - By code

Select this option to output the report in customer code order.

Report order - By name

Select this option to output the report in supplier name order.

Show detail

This report builds up the outstanding balances for each customer from their outstanding transactions. Select this option to print the transactions and the balances.

Include holds in outstanding

Select this option to include the value of transactions on hold in the outstanding total.

Print group summary

Select this option if you want each group selected in the Group by option to be subtotalled.

Print listing summary

Select this option if you want a total summary at the end of the report.

Print zero balance items

Select this option to include suppliers that have a zero outstanding balance.

Printer

Select the print output you require. This determines the address and also default the preferred print format of graphics or text. Besides being able to select from the various printers you have set up, you can also select to display on form, email, fax or save to file.

Address

Enter the address you require for the printer option selected. If you are saving to file you can use the browse button to select the correct directory and path.

Save selection

Click to save the report definition.

Preview

Click to preview the report.

Print

Click to print the report using the task queue.

Cancel

Click to cancel processing of the report.
