CRM
The bookmarks are used in CRM when using Word, Excel, or email templates. For example:
- Write Letter - Personalise an individual letter to a contact, when in the Contact forms. This uses a Word template.dot file with bookmarks matching the ones you selected in the COM interface. For example, you can personalise a letter to the customer, or log a support call and send a confirmation letter.
- Mail Merge - Mail merge a list of organisation or contacts into a standard marketing offer letter. This uses a Word template .dot file with mail merge fields matching the ones you selected in the COM interface. For example, you could send a marketing campaign letter to a list of customers or prospects.
- email - Send an email to a contact. This uses a Greentree Desktop email template which can include fields from the COM interface.
- Bulk email - Similar to mail merge, but sends bulk emails. This uses a Greentree Desktop email template which can include fields from the COM interface.
