Security Tab
The Security tab captures and displays the assigned user and team.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Assigned User
This field displays the current owner of a record. Security uses the record ownership to determine access defined on the User Preferences form.
Assigned Team
This field displays the team that currently owns a record. Security uses the record ownership to determine access defined on the User Preferences form. Records are created with the assigned team defaulting based on:
- User Preferences > CRM Settings
- CRM System Setup > Security settings
You can change the assigned team by selecting another team from the dropdown list.
Filed By
This field displays the Windows user name of the person that filed the email or file.
When Filed
This field displays date and time when the email or file was filed.
