Web Menu Configuration

Use the Web Menu Configuration form to customise the menu items available within each eModule.

You select the eModule, then the menu.xml file to customise. The file menu.xml is in the XSL folder in the eModule installation directory — for example: c:\form files\Greentree\eservice\XSL\AssetMenu.xml.

Load the XML file to list all the menu options available. You can change the menu options by selecting the menu option, followed by:

Is visible - Deselect to hide the menu option.
Text - Update the text to enter the menu option header you require.

Submit your changes to the .xml file by clicking the Write to file button.

Note: Save a copy of the original menu.xml file before changing it.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

File Location

Navigate to the directory for the eModule you selected.

Menu Options

This list contains all the menu options for the sub menu selected. You can change the visibility of the menu option and update the caption of the icon on the menu bar.

Is visible

This option controls the availability of the menu option when the eModule is running:

Select the Is visible option to display the menu item when the eModule is running.
Deselect the Is visible option to hide the menu item when the eModule is running.

Text

You can update the caption of the icon for each menu option. Select the menu option and update the text.

Sub Menu

This dropdown list contains all the menus for the selected eModule. The list of menu options is refreshed using the sub menu selected.

eModule

Select the eModule for which to edit the menu options.
