Updating Database Values
You can use the Inspection Tool to update values in the database. This example demonstrates how to alter the address1 property of a supplier:
- Open the inspector from the AP Supplier Maintenance form, and select the property address1.
- From the toolbar File menu, select Enter edit password.
- Enter the edit password and click OK. The password changes daily. Contact your Greentree consultant for this password.
- Click the button at the base of the form to change the property value. Edit the value in the field, and click Save <property> to update.
Bulk Updating Database Values
You can bulk update objects by selecting the Edit all objects in data bucket option from the Inspector View menu, which opens the Edit Multiple Objects form.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Edit objects in data bucket
Select the data bucket that contains the objects to update.

Select that type of object to update. Objects not of this type are not updated.
Change property
Select the property to edit for selected objects.

Enter the property's new value.
Close and Edit Objects buttons
Click Edit Objects to perform the update, or Close to close the form without updating.
Note: If any object fails to update, then none of the objects in the data bucket is updated.
