Graph Designer
Use this form to design new graphs using specific data for each module. The data that you can graph on the X and Y axes is determined by the module the graph is associated with.
The table below lists X-axis data available to graph by module:

Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Graph Name
Enter a name for the graph, up to 50 characters.
Description
Enter a description for the graph, up to 50 characters.
Module
Select the module of the graph.
X Axis Data
Display
Select the type of object to display on the X-axis. You can select from the data outlined in the table above using the selected module.
Calendar
Select the calendar of the items to be graphed. The default value is the module's default calendar.
Current period for the selected module
Select this option to display module data for the current period of the calendar.
For a selected period
Select this option to display module data for a specific period. The default value is the first period of the calendar.
For a range of periods
Select this option to display module data for a range of periods.
The next section of the form determines which of the selected X axis data (in this case, inventory items) to display.
Show all <X axis objects>
Select this option to graph data for all the objects in the X axis field.
Show <X axis objects> that match this query
Select this option to filter the objects based on a query. Queries are constructed using the same process that applies to the advanced search feature.
Use More or Less to add or remove conditions to the query.
Y Axis Data
Display
Each module has a specific set of data that can be graphed on the Y-axis. You can select up to three items to graph. Click the Display more and Display less buttons to add or remove data to display.
Sort by
Select the preferred sort option. You can sort by the X-axis object or by one of the values you have selected to display on the Y-axis.
Filter based on
Select <don't filter> if you do not want to filter the Y-axis data, otherwise select the data set to apply a filter to. Filter options include:
- Only show the highest <n> values - Select this option to display only the <n> items with the highest filter based on data. For example, if this option is selected and <n> is 10, only the 10 items with the highest YTD Sales Value displays on the graph.
- Only show the lowest <n> values - Select this option to display only the <n> items with the lowest filter based on data. For example, if this option is selected and <n> is 10, only the 10 items with the lowest YTD Sales Value displays on the graph
- Only show values that are between <n1> and <n2> - Select this option to display only the items with filter based on data between <n1> and <n2>.
- Hide zero values - Select this option to suppress the display of items with zero valued filter based on data.
Design Appearance
Click this button to open the Design Chart form, enabling you to customise the appearance of the graph.
View Graph
Click this button to preview the graph based on your design. If the calendar you selected does not have any module objects (suppliers, customers, and the like), an error message displays.
