Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Year

Select the year for which you which to view invoices. This defaults to 2010 for consistency with the other 1099 forms.

Supplier Selection

Select the supplier (by code, alpha, or name) to view. You can leave this field empty, but that could result in slower performance on large databases if you don't select other limiting criteria.

Reference

Enter or select a specific invoice or credit note reference.

Date From/To

Enter the date range required. These default to the year selected, but you can change it to include a smaller or larger date range. Greentree Desktop references these fields when you run the enquiry.

Blanks only

Select this option to only show invoices or credit notes that do not have a 1099 tax code assigned to them.

If you select this option, the 1099 Code field is cleared and disabled you can view either transactions with codes assigned, or transactions without codes assigned, but not both at the same time.

Apply

Click this button to run the enquiry and return details to the table. You can double click a transaction line to drill down to the transaction detail.

All fields in the table are read-only except for the 1099 Code. If any of the codes are changed, you must save the form to update the transaction(s).

Note: Incorrect 1099 code assignments are often only identified at year end after periods have been closed and invoices have been paid. You can use this form to change the code even if the transaction is read only, and for 1099 years that have already been reported.
