Category Branch Maintenance

Use this form to define specific display for each branch within an inventory tree.

These settings change the template defined on the Web Security Groups Inventory Trees tab and the Default Viewable Inserts settings in the Security tab. Once these settings are saved, any added tree branches uses the default settings on the Inventory Trees tab and Security tab so you will need to edit these settings if you make changes to the tree structure and want to have different settings to the default for any new tree branches.

This form is modal, meaning while it is visible, no other forms can be edited. On saving or deleting, this form will close and return you back to the Web Security Group Maintenance form on the Inventory Trees tab.

After reloading templates, the new set of templates should contain copies of the category_.ect template files (for example: category_intro.ect). Some branches should also have been set to use these category_.ect templates. If not, you must check the Inventory Trees tab in each web group. If the Branches column includes an Edit button, click the button and check the template settings. If a category_.ect file that does not exist is being used, you must change it to one that does exist, or use the default category_.ect file.
