Line Item

You can add or maintain packing slip line detail in the table at the base of the form or into the Line Item form.

You can add packing slip lines to a packing slip if the SO Control option Allow additional order lines on packing slip is selected.

If this option is false, you will only be able to edit lines generated from the sales order.

Packing slip can be maintained for IN, GL, NS, and TO line types.

Use these controls to determine which line detail fields you want to be visible to the user during data entry, and which of the visible fields you want to display in read-only format. This enables some control over the type of information users can view and edit when they are maintaining packing slip lines.

For example, you can restrict users from viewing the cost or GP, or you can make price fields read-only to ensure that a user cannot change a price calculated by Greentree Desktop for a line.

Finalise packing slips using the Finalise Packing Slips form. You can generate invoices from the Packing Slip Maintenance form or from the Generate Invoices form.
