Price History Search
Click the Price History button on the Sales Order Entry header form to display an item's Price History form.
|
The fields displayed in the Price History table default from the sales order line. If the equivalent field in Sales Order Entry is invisible in both the form and the table, it will also be invisible on this form. |
This form displays all sales made to the sales order customer, for the line item that was selected when the form was launched. The number of days history displays is dependant on the SO Module Control setting Price/Sales History, number of days to show. The date used for this function is the posting date of the historical transaction.
You can double click on a line or highlight the line and click the Select button to return the details to the sales order line. These fields default to the sales order line:
- Unit price (converted into the sales order line unit of measure if conversions are in use);
- Discount %
- Discount value
- Tax type, tax code, tax %, and tax amount,
If the:
- Discount percentage and discount value are read-only in both the
sales order line form and table, and the discount percentage on the
selected price history line are not equal to the sales order line
discount percentage, this message displays:
You are unable to alter the discount %, the price was not updated
You must click OK and enter a price in the order line.
- Unit of measure of the selected price history line is different to the unit of measure in the sales order line, the unit price will be recalculated using the selling unit of measure, where Unit of Measure Conversions are in use.
You must select a line in the Price History table before clicking the Select button, otherwise an error message will display. You can close the form without selecting any history lines by clicking the Cancel button and closing the form to continue with order entry.
