Work Centre Maintenance
Use work centres to define the physical or theoretical stages or progress points that jobs pass through, or the cost centres within a job. Defining work centres and using them in transactions enables you to report on, for example, profitability or productivity at a work centre level.
The Job Cost Enquiry form summarises costs at a work centre level. You can drill down on transactions to view the form for a selected transaction.
You can also use work centres to filter output information to the Job Cost Management Reports, enabling you to report on specific work centres or a range of work centres within jobs.
|
You can further analyse costs within work centres using JC Activity Codes. Each activity code is assigned to a work centre and all cost transactions have an activity code associated with them. |
