Serial/Lot Tracking

The Serial/Lot Tracking module supports a business requirement to record serial or lot numbers for inventory items, for the purposes of tracking them through Greentree. Functions include:

Options to indicate whether an item is a serial or lot item, and to define the parameters of the serial or lot number.
An option to assign expiry dates to inventory items, and nominate an allowable period of time over which the inventory item can be sold.
An option to warn or stop the sale of items which fall outside Greentree-defined allowable selling period.
An option to assign customer and supplier warranties to items at a serial or lot number level.
The ability to assign serial or lot numbers to items during transaction entry, or to suspend the entry of serial/lot numbers during transaction entry so they can be entered at a later time when they are known.
The ability to output serial/lot numbers to standard inventory reports.
