Transactions Tab
Use this tab to view all transactions of the inventory item on this form, and access information from other modules.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Location From/To
Enter a range of locations to base the transaction enquiry on, or select All to include transactions for all locations.
Date From/To
Enter a range of dates to base the transaction enquiry on, or select All to include transactions for all dates.
Transaction Type From/To
Enter a range of transaction types to base the transaction enquiry on, or select All to include transactions for all transaction types.
Reference From/To
Enter a range of transaction references to base the transaction enquiry on, or select All to include transactions for all references.
Match partial of reference
If this box is selected, you will be prompted to enter some text, that will be applied to search for transactions. Greentree returns all transactions with references that contain all or part of the text entered.
Show all/Show current period/Show prior periods/Show futures
Select these options as required to filter the enquiry by period.
Mode
Select the balance forward option to display transactions in balance forward mode. The opening balance (based on period filters) displays, and current transactions. Select the open item option to display all transactions that make up the current balance (no opening balance calculated).
Retain enquiry settings
Select this option to retain the current filter/criteria settings as long as the form remains open. If you don't select this option, the transaction filter criteria defaults back to standard each time a new item is selected in the maintenance form.
Apply
Click this button to run the enquiry. Transaction details display in the table. To drill down and see the detail of a transaction, double click the transaction line. Greentree Desktop displays the originating data entry form to the form in read-only format, so that you can view the full details of the transaction.
Factory Orders
This button is enabled if the Manufacturing module is in use.
Click the button to access the factory order enquiry form so that you can view factory orders for the item. The item details will default to the factory order enquiry form.
Sales Graph
You can view sales information for the selected item in a graphical format (bar or line). You can enter a start date, period type (week, month, or day), and number of periods to apply to the analysis.
You can also display data for all locations of the item, or for a specific location. A Stock Out Forecast feature is also available to select, which is only applicable if you are using the Advanced Reordering module. It gives an indication of when stock for the selected item will be depleted, using the current sales analysis.
Purchase orders enquiry
This button is enabled if the Purchase Order module is in use.
Click the button to access the purchase order enquiry form so that you can view purchase orders for the item. The item details will default to the purchase order enquiry form, pre-populated with relevant detail.
Sales orders enquiry
This button is enabled if the Sales Order module is in use.
Click the button to access the Sales Order Enquiry form so that you can view sales orders for the item. The item details defaults to the sales order enquiry form, pre-populated with relevant detail.
