IN Inventory Item Maintenance
You can assign a Unit Weight to each item. The weight is assumed to be in kilograms. An item's estimated variable weight is calculated during transaction entry using this value.

The weight field is also used to calculate additional charges to be apportioned across a shipment when the Import Costing module is in use. |
