Messages


The Messages form contains two types of messages that displays when pay slips are printed. These messages will be appended to any message that is entered in the Pay Slip report selection criteria.

If the pay slip is reprinted in the future, these messages will be reprinted on the pay slip as they are stored in the database. The message entered in Pay Slip report criteria will not be reprinted.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Automatic Pay Slip Message (Australia Only)

This field displays the SGC Compliance message if you have opted for it to print on the pay slips. The title of the Messages form turns blue if a message is assigned to the employee. You cannot edit the text in this field.

Pay Slip Message

Enter the text that you want to include on the individuals pay slip. If there is an automatic message, this message will be appended to it.

Hold reason

Enter text to describe why a pay is placed on hold. Where the hold code has reason required, this is mandatory and you will be unable to save the pay until some text is entered into this field.
