Events
The Events Form lists information that may be significant for an employee. Some of these include: bank account details have changed; whether templates or classifications have been added, removed or changed; whether accruals have been change or deleted, or an employee is made inactive.
You can also add an event to an employee. If an event is created the name of the user and the date and time the event is created will be stamped on the event header. These manual events can be setup in Lookup Maintenance.
You can view all events, all events for a specific date range, nominate a specific event for all dates or nominate a specific event for a specific date range.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Events Type
Events are automatically created by maintaining certain Review fields — for example: Status. These fields are depicted as Event Types. You can view only certain Events on this tab, in which case you can select a specific Type of Event from the list.
The Search Now button runs the query and retrieves the Events using the criteria you have entered. All records that meet the criteria appear in the Maintain table.
Events Date
Enter the Date from which you want Events displayed. The Search Now button starts the query and retrieves the Events using the Date Range you have entered. All retrieved records display in the list
Events Date
Enter the Date To, to specify the range of Dates for which you want Events displayed. The Search Now button starts the query and retrieves the Events using the Date Range you have entered. All retrieved records display in the list.
Search Now
Click this button to filter all events that exist within the database for the employee according to the filter criteria selected. Click Maintain to add, edit, view, or delete non system events and to view system event.
Maintain
Click this button to add, edit, view, or delete events for the selected employee record.
Events Table
All events that exist for the employee record that meet the selected filter criteria displays within this form when you click the Search Now button. Click Maintain to add, view, edit, or delete event details.
