This form contains grievance code and information. It also displays type, status, date/time, by whom, against whom, circumstances, action taken and resolution for the grievance.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Code

The grievance code is a unique value that identifies each grievance, it can be alpha, numeric or alphanumeric. You can enter the code or Greentree can generate it.

Description

Enter the description for this grievance or select a grievance from the dropdown list.

Type

Enter or select the grievance type from those available in the dropdown list. You can add other grievance types.

Status

Enter or select the grievance status from those available in the dropdown list. You can add other grievance statuses. Status is compulsory to create the Grievance.

Date

Enter the date this grievance occurred. Date is compulsory to create the grievance.

Time

Enter the time this grievance occurred.

By Whom

Click this button to add, edit, view, or delete related person details by whom the selected grievance record relates.

Table

This table lists all applicants, contacts, employees and other related persons by whom this grievance relates. Click the By Whom button to add, view, edit, or delete related person details.

Against Whom

Click this button to add, edit, view, or delete related person details against whom the selected grievance record relates.

Table

This table lists all applicants, contacts, employees and other related persons against whom this grievance relates. Click the Against Whom button to add, view, edit, or delete related person details.

Circumstances

Enter text to capture the circumstances of the grievance.

Action Taken

Enter text to capture the action taken for the grievance.

Resolution

Enter text to capture the resolution for the grievance.

View

This field determines which records you have access to. The default view is set in module control. You can modify your view (depending on your security level):

  • All: All records are available, no limitation based on the owner of the record.
  • Mine: Only the records that are assigned to you are available.
  • Team: Only the records that are assigned to your team(s) are available.

Note: The user login super overrides the view setting, allowing access to all records.

Attachments

Click this button to add, edit, view, or delete an attachment to the individual grievance record.

Re-open

Click this button to select the status for the selected grievance to re-open.
