Custom Tab

Use this tab to assign and display the function tree and information about user-defined fields for functions.

If a function tree is defined as Mandatory, then you can't save a new function masterfile unless you have allocated the function to a branch in that tree.

If you want to remove a function from a tree, or change the branch that the function is assigned to, you cannot do this in Function Maintenance. This must be performed using the Function Tree Maintenance form.

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Function trees

Double click the tree to display the tree branches and to then select and change the tree branch value.

Function fields

Enter the values for custom function fields.
