This form contains employee position code and description, employee code, surname and first name information. It displays the status, date from and to which the employee commenced this position and if this position is current for the employee.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Position

Defaults to the position code for which the maintenance form is active.

Description

Defaults to the name of the position for which the maintenance form is active.

Code

Select the employee code to assign to the position. The list of codes contains all employees authorised for Human Resources.

Surname

Select the employee surname to assign to the position. The list of surnames contains all employees authorised for Human Resources.

First Name

Select the employee first name from the list to be assigned to the position. The list of first names contains all employees authorised for Human Resources.

Status

Enter or select the employee status. Additional employee position status may be added. Status is compulsory to save the employee to the position.

Date From

Enter the date when the employee commenced this position.

Date To

Enter the date when the employee ceased this position.

Current

This checkbox indicates whether the employee is currently assigned to this position.
