Key Dates

Use this sub tab to set up the default key dates that you want added when a new employee is created. These key dates are transferred to the employee and you can change them on the employee's record.

You can set up key date for a number of purposes and are viewed by running a report, or linking an Approval and Alerts rule to the dates. You can base the dates on:

  • Birth Date
  • Start Date
  • Entered Date

You can set the dates to be:

  • Recurring - The frequency type and number must be entered.
  • Absolute - The base date is used for the key date reminder.
  • Relative - The key dates are based off the entered date, for example, month from a start date.

Use the above options used in combination to setup a number of dates. If they are set as recurring, you can set them to recur for months or years.
