Report Schedule Maintenance
Use this option to run or schedule a group of published reports.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Name
Type a name to indicate which group of people these published reports are for.
Description
A longer description of the group of people who get these published reports and how often they are run.
Company
The default is Current, but you can choose any company within the database.
Report
Select from the list of WebView reports defined in Greentree Desktop.
Report Date
Choose from date (set on the WebView tab of General Ledger Module Control), Current General Ledger Period or Specified Date (If using specified date the date would must be edited each time this schedule was run).
GL Module Control
Specified Date
The date you want to report on if Specified Date was selected in the previous column.
Account Group
Select the security group to associate with this report - people with different security levels can all view the report and they will only see the results for the level they belong to. Select the highest security level and then tick to include sub levels. Greentree generates one version of the report for each security level.
Account Group Maintenance
Account Group Branch
To limit the security group to a lower level, select the level here.
Sub?
Select this option to have the report generated for each security level under the one selected in the Account Group Branch.
Budget
This is taken from General Ledger Module Control can be changed for this particular schedule.
Transaction Tree
If the column format on your report requires a transaction tree to be specified, select the transaction tree for this schedule.
Tree Branch
A WebView financial report can only be run for one branch at a time, select the branch for this row of the schedule (the same report can be put into a single schedule multiple times and specify different tree branches).
Branch Detail
Choose whether you want the detail for each sub branch or a summary.
Expiry Value
Works with the Expiry Unit and is the number of that unit to keep the published report for.
Expiry Unit
Select the unit to keep the published report for. This works with the expiry value — for example, two days.
Options are Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks Months, No Expiry. If you select No Expiry, the published report is available until you delete it.
Email Report
Select this option to email the report as soon as the schedule has completed running.
Excel Output
If the report schedule is output to Excel, choose whether the report is in summary or detail.
Select
Select this option to include the report in the current run.
Run Now
Click this button to generate a published report for all reports listed in the schedule and with Select currently selected. For each report in the schedule you will be asked to confirm when it should expire. This is taken from the settings in the schedule.
Schedule
Click to bring up the schedule dialog and specify a future time or date to generate the reports.
Email Reports
Check this if you want all reports to be emailed when you run the schedule
Template
Select the template for the email to be sent with the reports attached.
