Quantity Account Details

You can enter additional details if the Quantity Account option is selected for an account.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Unit description

Enter a unit description of the quantities of the account. This can be up to six characters long.

Actual rate

Enter a default rate to use when calculating the value for a quantity transaction. This is calculated as value = rate x quantity (from the transaction line).

Budget rate

Enter a default rate to use when calculating the budget value associated with a quantity transaction. This is calculated as value = rate x quantity (from the transaction line).

Allow zero values

Select this option to enable transactions for quantity accounts to be entered for a zero value, zero rate, and/or zero quantity.
