Custom Tab


Use this tab to assign and display general ledger account tree and user-defined field information.

InformationIf a general ledger account tree is defined as Mandatory, then you can't save a new account unless you have allocated the account to a branch in that tree.

You cannot remove an account from a tree using this tab. You must perform this action using a tree maintenance form.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

GL account trees

To assign a general ledger account to a tree branch, double click on the tree name in the table to display associated branches and then select or change the tree branch for the general ledger account (trees display based on what is defined in UT Tree Maintenance for GL Accounts).

GL account fields

Custom fields are set up using User Field Maintenance, and defaults to this table, enabling the assignment of a value. You don't need to assign values to user fields.

Transaction trees table

This table displays the transaction trees set up to analyse data at a general ledger account level. You can set the Available flag individually for an account here, or in bulk using the Transaction Tree Assignment form.

You can also select the Mandatory option at an account level, or in bulk using the Transaction Tree Assignment form. If this is selected, you must assign a branch during transaction entry for this masterfile or tree.

Transaction fields table

This table displays transaction fields of the account.
