Desktop Designer

Access the Desktop Designer using the menu Workflow > System > Organise Desks. You can drag the Generic Planner into the desktop Layout panel.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Caption

Enter the title of the desktop cell. The default value is Generic Planner.

Leading Space

Enter the number of empty lines between the Generic Planner's title and the detail. This aligns the detail fields of each item and defaults to 0.

Show Properties

Select this option if desk users can change the format of the desk tile. If selected, the Show Properties icon displays on the desk. If the icon is selected, the Tile Format form displays, which allows users to define:

Height of rows
Text colour
Text font
Background colour
Formatting of the Heading

The Remove Format button on the Tile Format form enables you to reset the format values to default.

Show Process Launch

Select this option to access a business process from the desk. If selected, the Business Process Launch button is available from the top right corner of the desk, which provides access to the default process selected.

Selected Process

Select the default business process to be run when the Business Process Launch button is clicked.

Select/Change Planner Data Providers

Double-click to open the Planner Options form, where you can select the data provider to use for the desk, and maintain settings for it.
