Maintain Highlight Types

Use this set-up option to define highlights for Calendar days on the Planner. Apply highlights on the Planner by selecting the Calendar Heading, then right-click and selecting the Highlight Type. You can enter the tooltip for the highlight, which gives a summary on why the day is highlighted, for example: Public Holiday. The Tool tip displays when you move the mouse pointer over the Highlight.

If more than one Highlight is applied to a specific day, then both tooltips displays.

  • You can colour code both highlights through colour coding the Heading of the one Highlight and the Column of the other.

    Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

    Highlight Type Priority

Enter the priority for the Highlight Type. The Priority determines the display layer, if more than one highlight is applied to the same Calendar Day(s). The highest priority is 1, which displays on top of any other highlight. You can only enter number of up to two characters in this field.

    Highlight Type Name

Enter the Name of the Highlight Type. The Name is used to identify the required Highlight Type when you apply it to the Planner.

    Shade Heading

If selected, the Header of the selected Calendar Days on the Planner will be shaded with the Background colour. The Calendar header contains the Date and Week Day.

    Shade Column

If selected, the whole Calendar Days column on the Planner will be shaded with the Background colour.

    Sample Colouring

This field displays the final colour coding to be used on the Highlight Type in the Planner. It gives you the opportunity to maintain the Background and Foreground colours until you're satisfied with the final product.
