Inbound Filing
The System Options for Inbound Filing contains Greentree-wide settings which determines the look and feel of Inbound Filing. These settings include whether or not Inbound Filing is enabled, what Record Types it can be filed against and other setup options such as the Greentree password is required.
If you maintain these settings you must start a fresh Listener and File2Greentree session before the settings will take effect.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Enable Inbound Files
Select this option if Users can use the File2Greentree (Inbound Filing) feature. If you don't select this option, the Inbound Filing feature is turned off and none of the other Inbound Email settings are enabled.
Show File against Dialog
Select this option to allocate a File to a specific Greentree record after dragging and dropping the file on the File2Greentree icon. You can enter detail about a record you want to file against on the File Against dialog – for example, against a specific quote.
Confirm when Re-filing
Select this option to receive a message when attempting to file an already filed File in Greentree Desktop. You can proceed or cancel.
Require Password
Select this option if you want users to enter their Greentree password when the File2Greentree link is first initiated for the Greentree session. When you exit Greentree, enter your Greentree password when using the InboundFiling link.
Require File against Details
Select this option to make using the File Against dialog mandatory.
DLL Version
Use this field to force the use of a later version of the File2Greentree.dll located in the Greentree \bin directory. This ensures that the correct version of the DLL is used for the required function.
The version updates through a Greentree pack, when a new minimum version is applicable. All later versions of the DLL will be accepted. If you are trying to use the Inbound Filing feature and your version of the dll is lower than the required minimum, an error message displays.
Max Size
Enter the maximum size allowed for Inbound Files. The default is set to 0 KB. You must update this field before any files will be filed in Greentree. If you try to file a file in Greentree that is larger than the specified size, an error message displays.
