Other Tab


The Other tab captures the minimum and maximum required hours for the employee, and the actions to be taken if the hours are less or more than required.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Daily Minimum Hours

Enter the minimum daily hours for the employee timesheets.

Daily Maximum Hours

Enter the maximum daily hours for the employee timesheets.

Weekly Minimum Hours

Enter the minimum weekly hours for the employee timesheets.

Weekly Maximum Hours

Enter the maximum weekly hours for the employee timesheets.

Overtime Activity group

Select the Activity group from the dropdown list which is the overtime activity group for the selected employee.

The caption of this field is set in eTimesheets Module Control.

Daily Minimum Action

Select the action to occur when the daily minimum hours are less than the hours set when a timesheet is submitted or approved;

  • Error - Employees are advised their timesheets cannot be less than the minimum, and they can't continue processing
  • No Warning - No action is taken
  • Warn - Employees are advised their timesheets are less than the minimum, and they can continue processing

Daily Maximum Action

Select the action to occur when the daily maximum hours are more than the hours set when a timesheet is submitted or approved;

  • Error - Employees are advised their timesheets cannot be more than the maximum, and they can't continue processing
  • No Warning - No action is taken
  • Warn - Employees are advised their timesheets are more than the maximum, and they can continue processing

Weekly Minimum Action

Select the action to occur when the weekly minimum hours are less than the hours set when a timesheet is submitted or approved;

  • Error - Employees are advised their timesheets cannot be less than minimum, and they can't continue processing
  • No Warning - No action is taken
  • Warn - Employees are advised their timesheets are less than the minimum, and they can continue processing

Weekly Maximum Action

Select the action to occur when the weekly maximum hours are more than the hours set when a timesheet is submitted or approved;

  • Error - Employees are advised their timesheets cannot be more than the maximum, and they can't continue processing
  • No Warning - No action is taken
  • Warn - Employees are advised their timesheets are more than the maximum, and they can continue processing

If Recorded time is not equal to Calculated time

Select the action to occur when the recorded time is not equal to the calculated time when a timesheet is submitted or approved;

  • Error - Employees are advised that the recorded time on their timesheets cannot be different to the calculated time, and they can't continue processing
  • No Warning - No action is taken
  • Warn - Employee are advised that the time recorded on their timesheets is not equal to the calculated time, and they can continue processing

If Overtime time is more than Pre-approved time

Select the action to occur when the additional time (overtime) entered is more than the pre-approved time when a timesheet is submitted or approved;

  • Error - Employees are advised that the additional time on their timesheets cannot be more than the pre-approved time, and they can't continue processing
  • No Warning - No action is taken
  • Warn - Employee are advised that the additional time on their timesheets is more than the pre-approved time, and they can continue processing

The availability of the pre-approved number of additional hours field on the Timesheet is controlled by eTimesheets Module Control.

If input time is more than allocated time on S/R

Select the response required if the input hours causes the total hours already processed to exceed the Allocated Time on the Call/Service request.

  • Error - Employee are advised that their allocated hours have been exceeded, and they can't continue processing
  • No Warning - No action is taken
  • Warn - Employee are advised that their allocated hours have been exceeded, and they can continue processing
