Open Report in External Application

You can open reports in an external application if the report has the Save to PDF File option enabled.

Via print preview

Click the Save icon on the print preview form toolbar to access the print options. Select an option to generate an Excel spreadsheet, a PDF file, or a text file. The file will display in the application associated with it.

Open as Excel XML

You can:

Export as Data - Removes the column, row and cell formatting
Suppress Page Header/Footer - Removes the page throw headers and footers
Suppress Total Section - Removes the report totals section
Suppress Sections Headers and Footers - Removes section headers and footer
Display Grid Lines, Row column Headers - Displays those elements

Via report printer selection list

Select Save to Excel XML file from the Output report to/Printer section in the report parameters before printing the report.
