Transaction Code Maintenance
Use this form to set up Cash Management Transaction Codes. These are used in the bank reconciliation process to identify the nature of bank statement lines — for example:
- Cheque
- Deposit
- Miscellaneous expense (for example, interest paid, bank fees)
- Miscellaneous income (for example, interest received)
You can assign an analysis code to each transaction code to categorise bank statement lines for cash flow reporting.
Greentree has some pre-defined transaction codes: R (receipt), P (payment), MR (miscellaneous receipt), and MP (miscellaneous payment).
