Use this tab to assign and display tree and user-defined field information for bank accounts.

If a bank account tree is defined as Mandatory, then you can't save a new bank masterfile unless you have allocated the bank account to a branch in that tree.

You cannot remove a bank account from a tree using this form. This action must be performed using the Bank Account Tree Maintenance form.

User defined trees

To assign a bank account to a tree branch, double click on the name of a tree in the table to display it's associated branches. Then, select or change the tree branch for the bank account. You can also perform this function in Bank Account Tree Maintenance, in which case the pre-assigned branch value for the selected bank account displays here.

User defined fields

You can set up custom fields using User Field Maintenance, which defaults to this table, enabling you to assign a value. You don't need to assign values to user fields.
