Transactions
This form contains customer transaction detail. For each transaction you can view details of the original transaction in the source form by drilling down on the transaction line within the enquiry table. You can also view the narration assigned to transactions.
The customer's current balance and MTD sales displays using the currency option selected on the Main tab.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Show all
Select this option to display all transactions regardless of status.
Show children
Select this option to display child transactions for the customer, where the customer is a parent account.

The Parent/Child Code and Parent/Child Alpha columns in the enquiry table are invisible by default. If you are using parent/child accounts, you can enable them by right-clicking the table column headings and selecting Edit Column. |
Show futures
Select this option to include future transactions in the display (those dated beyond current period). This is selected if Show All is selected.
Show priors
Select this option to include prior transactions in the display (those dated earlier than current period). This is selected if Show All is selected.
Show outstanding only
Select this option if you only want to display transactions that are outstanding (for payment).
Select period
Select this option to display transactions based on a specific period end date, and enter a date.
Mode
Select either Balance forward or Open item as the transaction viewing mode. A balance forward view displays an opening balance, plus current period transactions. An open item view displays all transactions no opening balance).
Apply
Click this button to apply the criteria and return transaction detail to the table.
Sales orders
Click this button to open the Sales Order Enquiry form to view sales orders for the selected customer.
To extend transaction detail in the table, click the + next to the line. You can also double click on any line to open the transaction source form, pre-populated with details of the original transaction.

When you are viewing transaction detail in the table, you can right-click on the mouse and select options to Expand child lines or Collapse child lines - these can be used if click the + next to each line or click the - next to each line. |
