Security
The following settings determine the level of access given to the Pay Slips form:
Module:
Company Maintenance / Modules in Use / Human Resources.
Form:
User Preferences:
- Access / Suite / Browser Client / Module Suite / Human Resources; OR
- Access / Suite / Mobile / HR; OR
- Access / Suite / Mobile / Enquiry.
Record:
HR User Preferences / Security / Allow access to Payroll transactions in Browser.
Read access:
The HR Employee records available to the user is determined by the HR User Preferences / Privileges settings for:
- Read All Records / Person; OR
- Read Team Records / Person
If neither is selected, the user only has access to their own pay slips.
Field Reference
EMPLOYEE
F9 or selecting
from EMPLOYEE
displays a droplist showing the employee Surname, First Name
and Code of employee's accessible to the logged in user.
Where only one employee exists, this is defaulted and the field read only.
To search:
- select EMPLOYEE
- enter a partial employee Surname, employee First Name, or exact match Code
- Enterprise search will automatically activate
- [TAB] or [ENTER] off the search result to view.
Selecting the field title provides the option of choosing which fields are included in the search. By default All is selected.
Additional search fields can be added via System > System Setup > Class Maintenance / HRTSEmployee.
Year
The year the pay slips are to be viewed.
The periods that make up that year are based on the payroll year of the country the employee belongs to. For example:
- Australia 1 July - 30 June
- New Zealand 1st April - 31 March
- United Kingdom 6th April - 5th April.
Grid detail
Payment Date - the date the payment was made.
Gross Pay - the gross pay before tax and deductions.
Deduction - the total non-taxable deductions.
Tax - the total tax deduction for the pay period.
Net - the net pay after tax and deductions.
Pay slips display in descending order based on Payment Date.
