Timesheet Review Smart Button
The Smart buttons that are available depend on which tab on the Timesheet Review form is in focus.
Approve Timesheets
Clear
Resets the Approval tab fields back to their defaults.
Approve Selections
Available as the default option on selection of Approve for any row on the grid.
On selection:
- The Timesheet Review form is disabled until the approval process has completed
- Processes all lines where Approve is selected
- Refreshes the grid to display unselected lines and re-enable the Timesheet Review form.
If an error is encountered during the approvals process a message is displayed and the form remains disabled. On clearing the message, the form is re-enabled.
If the standard process for a header includes approving its lines, then
all lines must be selected for the header to be approved. If a line is
not selected, then the header and the other lines will not be approved.
Missing Timesheets
Send Messages
Available if any rows in the grid have Send selected.
On selection, an email is sent to each employee where Send is selected. This contains the following:
To
Defaults to the logged in user's name and email address.
From
Defaults to the logged in user's name and email address.
Bcc
Defaults to the employees' usual name and email address.
Subject
Defaults to Missing timesheets.
Body
Auto generated text that pre-populates with the week ending dates of the missing timesheets and the senders name.
