Sick Pay

Where sick leave is being measured in hours, sick pay transactions require the number of hours to pay (at the employee's relevant hourly rate) and the number of Hours of Sick Leave Entitlement to Reduce for those hours.

Where sick leave is being measured in days, sick pay transactions require the number of hours to pay (at the employee's relevant hourly rate) and the number of Days of Sick Leave Entitlement to Reduce for those hours.

To pay sick pay enter "3" or "S". The details you need to enter will depend on how the employees' sick pay details are set up at Head office.

Paying sick pay in remote is very simple. Just enter the units as prompted and a cost centre if required. The captions will change based on which method of paying sick pay is in use at your head office.

Hours to Pay  This is the number of hours of sick pay to pay to the employee.

Hours to Reduce  This is the number hours to reduce the employee's sick pay entitlement by.

Cost Centre  This is the cost centre assigned to this sick pay payment. The cost centre name will also be displayed.

Dates Taken

Click the Dates Taken button to specify the calendar day(s) on which the leave was taken. Click on the cell for the appropriate day, and then click on the "+" tool or optionally right-click on the cell to select via the right-click menu.
