Platform: Build ARM Reports Faster in the Modern UI

This feature is available as part of the Modern UI, which we are rolling out in stages in 2026. Some Modern UI features are available for limited testing in demo instances in 2025.2.1. Do not turn on Modern UI in production environments.

With the introduction of the Modern UI, you can now build analytical (ARM) reports faster and more intuitively. In MYOB Acumatica 2025.2.1, the Row Sets (CS206010), Column Sets (CS206020), and Unit Sets (CS206030) forms have been enhanced to help you work more efficiently. Use the tips below to save time and reduce errors when you’re building and maintaining reports.

Refreshed Look of Row Sets

The Row Sets (CS206010) form now features a cleaner, more organized design.

View Data Settings. All data-related settings now appear on the new Data tab and are tailored to the selected row type. You'll find the row's key data settings summarized in the table, as shown below.

Preview Formatting Changes Instantly. Formatting settings are now grouped on the Formatting tab. As you adjust a row's formatting, the table updates instantly to show you how the printed report will look (see the example below).

Copy and Paste Row Formatting. You do this by using the corresponding buttons on the Formatting tab or by using the keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+C for copying and Ctrl+Shift+V for pasting. Use the Reset button to reset the row's formatting to its default state.

Easily Identify Unprintable Rows. Rows that don't appear in the printable version of a report—such as rows of the Sort type or rows with Printing Control set to Hidden—are shaded in light gray.

Track Row Dependencies. For rows with formula-based values, all row dependencies included in the formula are now highlighted. This makes it easier to trace relationships.

You can rely on similar highlights to quickly spot each row's base or linked row.

Let the System Number Rows. You no longer have to assign or update row codes or references by hand—the system handles it for you. When you add a row in the middle of a row set, the system:

Renumbers all rows below.
Automatically updates all linked rows, base rows, and row references in formulas.

Quickly Reorder Rows. Change the order of rows just by dragging them. The system highlights the drop location to help you place rows precisely.

Work with Multiple Rows at a Time. Select individual rows by holding the Ctrl key or a range of rows by holding the Shift key. Drag the rows together to a new place, or update them by pasting the copied formatting to the entire selection.

Tip:

Click the leftmost column of a row to add the row to the selection. Click any other column to drag a row or a selection.

Optimized Column Sets

The Column Sets (CS206020) form now has a refreshed look. Instead of managing two separate tables, you work with a single table for both column data and report and column headers. Settings are organized into Data and Formatting tabs, just like on the Row Sets (CS206010) form.

Distinguish Header and Value Rows. Rows marked with the icon represent report and column headers, while the row defines column data. You can add multiple header rows, but there's only one row for column data.

Reorder Columns Easily. Change the column order by selecting any cell and clicking the left or right arrow, shown below. Headers and details always stay together, so you never lose alignment.

To reorder header rows, just drag them to the needed place. The detail row always appears last.

Preview Formatting Changes Instantly. Formatting changes in column sets appear instantly, just like in row sets. For formulas in headers, the system shows sample values so you can preview the layout, even when actual results depend on the report definition or parameters specified before running the report.

Review Summarized Column Data. The last row of each column summarizes the data selected on the Data tab for quick reference.

Copy Formatting Efficiently. Save time on copying and pasting the formatting of each individual cell. When you select a cell and copy its formatting, the formatting of all cells in the cell's column is copied. You can then quickly apply formatting in two ways:

Paste Cell Formatting: Apply the formatting of the original cell to a single selected cell.
Paste Column Formatting: Apply the formatting of each cell of the original column to the corresponding cell in the target column. Formatting is copied row by row: from the first cell in the source column to the first in the target, the second to the second, and so on.

You can also reset a column's formatting to its default state by clicking Reset.

Updated Unit Sets

The Unit Sets (CS206030) form mirrors the look and feel of Row Sets (CS206010) and Column Sets (CS206020):

All the settings of each unit are grouped in the right pane.
You create and organize units in the left pane.

To create a unit, select a unit in the tree under Units and click Insert on the pane toolbar—a new nested unit is created. You can then update the unit's code, description, and settings in the right pane.

New Color Picker

All ARM configuration forms now include a color picker, letting you select any color or enter a specific RGB code (see an example below)—instead of picking from a limited predefined list.
