M-Powered Invoices > Install M‑Powered Import Assist > Installing MYOB ODBC Direct
You need to have the MYOB ODBC Direct version that is compatible with your software version to run M‑Powered Import Assist.
If you have installed the latest version of AccountRight, the version of MYOB ODBC Direct that is compatible with it was installed automatically and you do not need to install it again.
Some third-party applications may not be compatible with the new ODBC files installed with M-Powered Import Assist. Contact your solution provider to ask if your version of MYOB ODBC Direct is compatible with that solution.

To check whether you have installed the MYOB ODBC Direct version that is compatible with your software version

Go to Windows start > Control Panel > Administrative tools and choose the Data Sources (ODBC) option.

Click the Drivers tab and locate the MYOB ODBC item in the list. If you cannot locate it, then you haven’t installed it. See Installing the MYOB ODBC Direct version compatible with your software version.

If you can locate the MYOB ODBC item in the list, note the version number displayed.

Go to the Windows start menu and choose All Programs.

Choose your MYOB software folder from the list (for example, AccountRight Premier v19) and then choose MYOB Tools. Check the version number of the Install MYOB ODBC Direct folder.

If it is the same version number of ODBC Direct you noted in step 3, then you have already installed the MYOB ODBC Direct version that is compatible with your software version.
